Respite care in Coventry and Warwickshire

Take time to rest, recharge or deal with life, knowing your loved one is cared for in their own home by someone you trust.

Looking after yourself is part of looking after them.

What Is Respite Care at Home?

Caring for a parent, partner or relative is a labour of love, but everyone needs a break. Respite care means one of our carers steps in for a while, so you can rest, go away, attend your own appointments or simply have time for yourself.

Unlike a short stay in a care home, in-home respite means your loved one stays where they feel safest: in their own home, with their own routines, belongings and neighbours around them. Nothing has to be packed and nothing changes for them.

Booked ahead for a holiday, a family event, a regular day off or a rest you have been promising yourself. Planning ahead gives us time to match the right carer and arrange introductions.

A Break That Fits Your Life

Respite care can be shaped around what you need. Choose an option below to see how it might work.

Respite as a First Step into Care

For some families, respite is the first time they have accepted outside help. It can be a gentle way to see what care at home feels like, build trust with a carer and plan for the future without any long-term commitment.
  • Carers matched by personality, experience and compatibility
  • Trained, DBS checked and supported by our Coventry office
  • Care can continue after respite if you decide it helps

How Much Does Respite Care Cost?

The cost of respite depends on the type of care, how long you need it and whether nights are included. Some family carers may be able to get support with respite costs through a council carer's assessment. We will give you a clear quote after your free assessment.
