The Team Behind Your Care

Behind every visit is a team planning rotas, matching carers, answering calls and checking that care is going well.

Our care coordinators are here to help. Call 07857 185750 and you will speak to someone who knows your care.

Our Carers

Our carers are the heart of Preserve Healthcare. They come from many backgrounds and bring warmth, patience and respect to every visit. We look for people who genuinely care, then give them the training and support to do the job well.

We match carers with the people they support by personality, experience and compatibility, so care feels comfortable and familiar.

What every Preserve carer brings:

  • Respect for each person's home, routines and choices
  • Clear, patient communication with the person and their family
  • Care given exactly as the care plan sets out
  • A habit of noticing small changes and reporting them early

How We Recruit

  1. Values first

We look for kindness, reliability and respect before anything else.

  2. Interview

We talk through experience, motivation and how each person would handle real situations.

  3. Safe recruitment checks

Every carer has an enhanced DBS check, references and right to work checks before they start.

  4. Induction and shadowing

New carers complete induction training and shadow experienced colleagues before working alone.

Training That Keeps Care Safe and Kind

  • Induction training

Core skills and standards every new carer needs before starting.

  • Moving and handling

Helping people move safely and comfortably.

  • Medication support

Safe support with medication, as set out in each care plan.

  • Safeguarding

Recognising and reporting any concern about someone's safety or wellbeing.

  • Dementia awareness

Communicating with calm, patience and reassurance.

  • Ongoing development

Regular refreshers and new skills as the needs of the people we support change.

Supporting the People Who Care

Carers who feel supported give better care. That is why we invest in our team.
  • Regular supervision

One to one time to talk, reflect and plan development.

  • Spot checks

Observations in the home to make sure care meets our standards.

  • Someone to call

A coordinator is always available to help with questions or worries.

  • Listening to feedback

We ask our team how things could work better, and act on it.
