Quality and safety
When someone comes into your home to provide care, you need to know they are safe, trained and properly supported. Here is how we make sure of that.

Registered with the Care Quality Commission
Preserve Health Ltd, trading as Preserve Healthcare, is registered with the Care Quality Commission (CQC) to provide personal care. The CQC is the independent regulator of health and social care in England.
Our service has not yet been inspected. The CQC inspects newer services after they have been providing care for a period of time. Once our first inspection report is published, you will be able to read it in full on the CQC website, and we will show it here too.
How We Check the Quality of Care
Plan
We assess needs and agree a personalised care plan.
Deliver
Trained, matched carers provide care as the plan sets out.
Check
Supervision, spot checks and feedback show us how care is going.
Improve
We review, adjust and learn, then the cycle begins again.
Safe Recruitment
- Enhanced DBS check
- References from previous employers
- Right to work checks
- An interview focused on values and real situations
- Induction and shadowing before working alone

Trained to Care Safely
Our carers complete induction training before they start and keep learning throughout their time with us. Training covers moving and handling, medication support, safeguarding, infection prevention, dementia awareness and the values that shape how we work. We refresh training regularly and add new skills when the people we support need them.
Supervision and Spot Checks
Supervision
Each carer has regular one to one time with a senior member of the team to discuss their work, any concerns and their development.
Spot checks
Senior staff visit during care calls, with the person's agreement, to observe care and make sure it meets our standards.
Records
Daily care notes are checked so we can spot changes early and act on them.
Care Plans That Keep Up with You
Your care plan is reviewed regularly and whenever something changes, such as a hospital stay, a fall or new advice from a healthcare professional. Families are involved in reviews where the person wishes, so everyone knows what support is in place and why.
Keeping People Safe
Every carer is trained to recognise signs that someone may be at risk of harm, abuse or neglect, and to report concerns straight away. We follow the safeguarding procedures of the local authority and work with the right agencies to protect people.
If you are worried about someone's safety, please tell us. If a person is in immediate danger, call 999.
