Palliative care in Coventry and Warwickshire
Palliative and End of Life Care at Home
Gentle, unhurried care that brings comfort, dignity and calm to the people you love, in the place they feel most at home.
We are here to listen, whenever you are ready to talk.

What Palliative Care at Home Involves
Palliative care is about comfort and quality of life when someone is living with an illness that cannot be cured. End of life care is the support given in the final months, weeks and days.
Many people wish to spend this time at home, surrounded by familiar things and the people they love. Our carers help make that possible, supporting personal care, comfort and everyday life, so families can spend more time simply being together.
How We Can Help
Personal care
Gentle washing, mouth care, dressing and fresh bedding, always with privacy and dignity.
Comfort
Help changing position, keeping warm and making the room feel calm and peaceful.
Eating and drinking
Small meals, sips of drink and favourite treats, at the person's own pace.
Medication support
Prompts in line with the care plan and the guidance of the healthcare team.
Company and reassurance
Sitting quietly, reading aloud, playing favourite music or holding a hand.
Around the home
Light housework and laundry, so family time is not spent on chores.
Working Alongside Your Healthcare Team
Our carers are part of a wider circle of support. We work alongside GPs, district nurses, hospice teams and other professionals, following their guidance and the care plan.
Clinical care, including pain relief and symptom management, is led by the healthcare team. If our carers notice any change, they let the family and the right professional know.

Their beliefs
